Service Fees & Policies
At this time, Mainestream Health Co. is not in network with any insurance providers. Insurance companies dictate a treatment course or will often only cover certain conditions. This creates space for inadequate or inappropriate patient care, which is our top priority for you.
If your insurance offers coverage for acupuncture, chiropractic, or medical services, we would be more than happy to create a superbill, or a receipt of treatments, for you to submit to your provider for reimbursement.
Payment is due in full at the time of service.
If you are interested in billing your insurance, please contact your insurance provider prior to your visit to inquire about coverage. We would be more than happy to send you a list of appropriate questions for your best opportunity to get reimbursed.
Late Cancellation/No-Show Policy
FOLLOW-UP APPOINTMENTS: If canceled within 24hr of appointment time you will be charged for the cost of that appointment.
NEW PATIENT EXAM APPOINTMENTS: If canceled within 48hr of appointment time you will be charged for the full exam fee.
Please be advised of the 48hr cancellation window for new patient exams. We allocate 60-90min for these appointments and are hard to fill on short notice.

For patients new patients - this appointment includes a comprehensive health history review and analysis, Traditional Chinese diagnostic evaluation, goal setting, goal achievement planning & treatment
Follow-Up Appointments

For established acupuncture patients - Includes a brief health update, diagnostic evaluation, and treatment including acupuncture, cupping, or a combination of other modalities
