Whether you're looking for a solution to a chronic ailment or trying to speed up healing of an acute problem,

Acupuncture and TCM can be a natural solution for your healthcare

How It Works

Acupuncture works with your nervous system to change patterns.

Changing patterns shifts the way your body perceives pain, regulates hormones, and functions. Acupuncture puts your body into parasympathetic mode ("rest and digest" mode) so your body can slow down enough to heal itself.  Acupuncture influences your body's own electricity to send messages to your central nervous system to make a balanced, specific change.

Acupuncture

Tiny, stainless steel acupuncture needles inserted into specific points on the body activate an intelligent, organizational energy system. Inserting these needles in certain areas will help check your body's imbalance in efforts to reach homeostasis. Your body works through this stimulation while you take an "acu-nap" or a relaxing rest.

Cupping

Using a glass cup and some fire to create a suction, cupping is used to pull toxins from the superficial muscles and promote circulation of blood, energy, and lymph. It is used for sore, tight muscles, detoxification, and acute respiratory illness. Because cupping pulls this stagnation to the body's surface, cupping can sometimes promote an area of discoloration that resembles a bruise and may last for a few days following treatment.

Gua Sha

A small handheld tool with a rounded edge is scrapped quickly and gently on the surface of the skin to promote circulation. It may produce red petechiae or small spots on the surface of the skin, which stimulates an immune response and metabolic processes for tissue recovery.

Herbal Medicine

Customized herbal formulas can help assist the body’s ability to heal. Helping to reduce pain and acting as an extension of treatment, it is an important supplementary tool to help maintain balance in the body and enhance the therapeutic effect of acupuncture.
Topical herbal medicine is used for healing skin tissue, preventing infections, improving blood flow to an injury, reducing pain.
